NVIDIA and the evolution of gaming in 2018
George is part of the Developer Relations team at NVIDIA, looking after independent developers and publishers across EMEA.
He entered the video games industry back in 1999, working at Sony Online Entertainment as part of the original team that developed MMO’s such as EverQuest, EverQuest 2, Planetside and Star Wars Galaxies. He later went on to work at British developer Splash Damage with the development teams who created award winning titles Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, Batman Arkham Origins, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Dirty Bomb. And, prior to joining NVIDIA, he was at Crytek as Business Director focusing on growing the CRYENGINE and VR businesses, and working with the amazing development team responsible for hits such as Far Cry, Crysis and Warface.
The talk will cover a number of topics: Ray Tracing, Machine Learning, Gameworks (Ansel/Highlights), Game Ready, GeForce Experience, GeForce Now and Shield. Session’s goal is to: inform developers on the latest technology from NVIDIA and how we can support them and help make their games even better through evolving technology.
