Gaming industry is very dynamic. What was boosting your business a few years ago can drag you down right now. A lot of people running their own studios are confused witch rapid economic and technology changes, mislead with new business models and over focused on yet another and another great idea. Meanwhile there are some basic concepts of enterprise development and project management which are rock solid, and which have not changed since ages. What is even more interesting these principles were created for military appliances and later were brought to civil purposes.
In my presentation I would like to introduce to the audience some of those principles for consideration, hoping they can apply them for their own businesses and undertakings. Topics covered during the presentation refers to such concepts and terms like: empowerment, time management, people management, (self)motivation, risk and risk diversification, strategic planning, assets management etc.
The speech is designated for present and future entrepreneurs wiling to evolve from small indie studio into (much) bigger and sustainable company.
