Command design pattern in action - AI architecture for Operator 112 and more
Grzegorz Jaśkiewicz – Head of R&D in Jutsu Games. Currently working on Operator 112 (sequel of Operator 911), he responsible for research carried out as a part of GameInn project, as well as managing the software production process of the game. In past he was a server-side programmer for Operator 911 and Modern Wizards, he also worked in Google on UI/UX for Google Compute Engine.
He received PhD on Warsaw University of Technology for his research on AI for Counter-Strike bots, based on logic rules systems.
Starting from AI action planning, through tutorial scripting to server-side job scheduling – I’d like to present a very practical and convenient design pattern, which we have been using successfully in Operator 112 game. I put emphasis mainly on AI and behavior scripting, but I’ll also present other alternative applications.
