Polish Gamers Research 2019
An enthusiast of the video game market, traveling and opera music, Michał began his adventure with games during the era of 8-bit computers. From 1995-2000, he worked in the outdoor advertising industry. Since 2001, he has combined his passion for virtual entertainment and online advertising with a job at GRY-OnLine S.A. (part of Webedia Group), the undisputed leader in the Polish gaming media as a Chief Marketing Officer and a Member of the Board. A frequent speaker at industry conferences, such as Digital Dragons, Games Connection, ChinaJoy and Poznań Game Arena. He is also an originator and co-author of the both editions of the ’State of the Polish Video Game Industry’ report, as well as the ‘Polish Gamers Research’ reports. Michał Bobrowski has an MBA from the Polish Open University.
Krakowski Park Technologiczny together with Polish Gamers Observatory have completed 5th edition of Polish Gamers Research. For the first time the survey was extended to include respondents aged 55-65. This provides even more detailed information on the topic of Polish players, their habits, behaviours, popularity of particular genres and types of games. This talk will present initial results of the study.
