Games have to be designed for the top charts
Oleg Pridiuk travels around the world and talks about games industry, so is often referred as an industry evangelist. He is now part of King’s team working on the Defold game engine, so is often referred as King evangelist. He was one of the first Unity Technologies employees, and… you’ve guessed the evangelist part, right?
This talk covers some of the technologies and approaches we employ to design mobile games that are tailored to the way people use their mobile devices. We’ll discuss battery, CPU, storage and startup time tests that our games have to pass as well as we’ll talk about patterns and use cases when people are in a mood for a short entertainment.
The talk is targeted at independent developers working on mobile games and willing to learn from King technical experience. The talk focuses on technical rather then marketing or business sides.
