Panic on the server! We all know what the first thought would be upon learning of a copyright infringement, but is it obvious what to actually do in such a case? Call your lawyer – one might say, although a first reaction strategy would be still useful. Protecting game rights may seem complicated, but this speech will clarify some assumptions and expectations regarding legal issues on copyright infringement. Is it even possible to catch and punish responsible entity? What about jurisdiction?
2.Personal data processing in mobile game
Is there still a place on the Internet without GDPR clauses? As part of the presentation, we will present actual problems of mobile game publishers related to the processing of gamers’ personal data, including the data management models used in practice and the impact of this issue on game development strategies – including paid additional services (basing on examples and conclusions of decisions of supervisory authorities). At what stage of game development this issue should be addressed?
