Unreal Engine 4 (and 5 as well) enables various possibilities to optimize animation, AI, movement and rendering on a large scale.
Lots of them are actually not so well documented and remain unknown.
During this lecture I will try to present a bit of Epic’s magic and how easy is to utilize it in crowd mechanics simulation.

Game maniac for over 25 years. Programmer with over 10 years of experience. Mostly interested in optimization and porting.
Shipped a few dozen games for multiple platforms and failed to do it with a few dozens more.
