Before he became Creative Director at People Can Fly New York, Roland Lesterlin worked in publishing at Atari, as Game Director for Avalanche Studios and co-founder and Creative Director of Defiant Studios. During his time at Atari, he worked on Ghostbusters: The Video Game, Backyard Sports, Codename Panzers – Cold War, The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, Star Trek Online and Champions Online. For Avalanche Studios, he helped to found their NY studio and directed Just Cause 3. At Defiant Studios, he worked on Rockstar’s L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files and Digital Extremes’ Warframe. In the two plus years at People Can Fly, he helped out on Outriders and now he works on an unannounced game.
