Video games are entertainment and need to be fun. On the other hand, they need to be done and shipped. This creates misunderstandings within teams and across the studio structures.
I’ll share my experience from the Evil West and other games I worked on. I had a unique chance to both work hand in hand with the management, as well as within the devteam trenches, creating and iterating the game content.
I don’t know all the answers, but I will help you predict the questions ahead of time.
